Morocco: Dutch man nabbed in Marrakech for counterfeiting foreign passports
Marrakech security forces in coordination with internal security directorate (DGSN) have arrested a Dutch national suspected for foreign passport forgery.
The man, 48, indulged in proposing fake foreign passports to his clients. He even received 100,000 Dirhams ($10,350) for the service, according to the DGSN.
The inspection of the suspect’s apartment enabled the seizure of electronic appliances, digital equipment and material for the forgery, as well as plain magnetic cards used in the criminal act.
The DGSN said the investigation will dig deeper in the case to uncover various accomplices.
