Ryanair to connect Agadir to seven European countries starting Nov 2021

Ryanair plans to link Morocco’s Atlantic resort of Agadir with destinations in Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany and Poland.

The company, which announced the setting up of its third African base in Agadir last month, will operate 25 new routes from Agadir to key tourist emitting destinations.

The flights will start in November 2021 with the aim of carrying 230,000 tourists by 2022 and 570,000 by 2024, head of Morocco’s tourism promotion office Adel El Fakir said.

The new flights will offer a boon for professionals in the tourism sector in Agadir and its region where the pandemic took a toll causing many hotels and tour operators to shut down.

Ryanair invested 200 million dollars in its Agadir hub which stands among the most competitive winter destinations for European tourists.
