Marrakech, Most Popular destination for British Tourists in May 2017- The Mirror

Thanks to its numerous attractions, bustling markets, typical architecture and culinary art as well as mild weather, Marrakech topped the list of best holiday destinations for UK tourists in May 2017 said a survey by British paper, The Mirror.

The paper notes that in May, a popular month for those wanting to escape and get a bit of sunshine, temperatures begin to rise although they tend to stay around 21C, which makes it ideal for exploring Marrakech world-famous markets.

“The flight to Marrakech from the UK is just under four hours, making it an ideal city break over a long weekend,” says the Mirror, noting that the UK and Morocco are linked by airlines: Easyjet, Ryanair and British airways in addition to Royal Air Maroc.
