Morocco’s digital services exports hit 13.4blm MAD in 2025 first half

Morocco’s exports of digital services and outsourcing continued their upward trajectory, reaching 13.4 billion dirhams by the end of June 2025, according to preliminary data from the Office des Changes.

The figure marks a 3.5% increase compared to the same period last year, underscoring the growing appeal of “Made in Morocco” digital solutions.

Despite global headwinds in IT services and heightened competition in outsourcing markets, the sector remains a key driver of Morocco’s new economy. In 2024, exports totaled 26.2 billion dirhams, a modest 0.2% rise from 2023, reflecting resilience amid international slowdown.

Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO) continues to dominate, accounting for 40.3% of exports, followed by customer relationship management services, notably call centers.

These gains align with the national Digital Morocco 2030 strategy, which aims to position the Kingdom as a regional hub for digital services and outsourcing. The plan seeks to attract global clients and enhance competitiveness through innovation and market diversification.
