Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Chairs 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour Show Jumping Rabat Grand Prix

Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan chaired, on Sunday, the 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour Rabat Grand Prix, a prestigious competition that bolsters Morocco’s standing as a key player in the international equestrian calendar.

The Crown Prince followed the final round of the high-level equestrian competition and then presented the 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix to the Monegasque horsewoman Anastasia Nielsen, who achieved the first place in the rankings, while the 2nd and 3rd place were respectively earned by the Danish Andreas Schou and the Irish Denis Lynch.

The 15th stage of the 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour, held October 17 to 19, brought together the world’s top-ranked Longines riders.

The Rabat stage, held after those organized in cities such as Doha, Madrid, Shanghai, London, New York, Paris, and Rome, carries an even more strategic dimension, as it is the penultimate leg before the final in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the prestigious Global Champions Playoffs in Prague, Czechia.

In 2024, the Kingdom’s capital made history by becoming the first African city to host the prestigious Longines Global Champions Tour, confirming Rabat’s standing among the world’s leading show jumping destinations and fostering Morocco’s position as a land of major international equestrian events.

Hosting every year top-tier competitions that attract the global elite, such as the El Jadida Horse Show and the Morocco Royal Tour, Morocco has built solid expertise in organizing major equestrian events that meet the highest international standards.

This is also true of the Longines Global Champions Tour, the world’s premier show jumping series, which promotes excellence in equestrian sports, showcasing the highest levels of competition and fair play.
