Morocco’s National Social Security Fund (CNSS) has launched a major digital transformation of its Damancom employer portal, introducing new authentication methods to enhance security and streamline access for businesses across the country.
The updated system now requires users to log in through either the National Security Directorate’s digital identity (e-ID) service or a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS. In a transitional measure for July, the CNSS is also accepting OTP verification through email to ensure uninterrupted service access.
This digital overhaul aligns with Morocco’s broader push toward nationwide digital identity adoption, marking a significant step in modernizing government services. The enhanced security measures aim to protect sensitive employer data while simplifying the user experience for thousands of businesses that rely on the platform for social security declarations and payments.
To facilitate a smooth transition, the CNSS has published comprehensive online guides and strongly advises companies to update their account information, particularly verifying registered phone numbers and email addresses. This proactive approach helps prevent access issues as the new system takes effect.
Recognizing the technical adjustments required by businesses, authorities have extended the deadline for June 2025 social security contributions and declarations until July 17, 2025. During this grace period, companies will face no penalties for late submissions, providing adequate time to adapt to the new authentication requirements.
The modernization represents a crucial advancement in Morocco’s digital infrastructure, demonstrating the government’s commitment to leveraging technology for improved public service delivery while maintaining robust security standards.
