Abidjan to host 4th West Africa LPG Expo Sept. 7-8

Côte d’Ivoire’s economic capital will host on September 7-8 the fourth West Africa Liquefied Petrol and Gas (LPG) Summit.

The gathering will bring the industry heavyweights, ranging from C-suite executives to officials from the world’s largest corporations and trade bodies in the LPG sector, provides delegates with the opportunity to learn from the best in the field and gain access to never-before-released resources.

About 1,000 delegates are expected.

Côte d’Ivoire, according to the organizers, is paving the way for LPG’s storage, distribution, and supply with its plans to establish one of the most extensive LPG storage facilities in Africa.

“The LPG consumption in Côte d’Ivoire has risen from 175KT in 2013 to 380KT in 2019. Moreover, projections indicate that it will raise at a CAGR of 7% over the next 15 years, making it the most flourishing petroleum product in sub-Saharan Africa. Therefore, there is a pressing urgency to expand LPG shipments, storage, supply, and distribution,” the event website notes. Neighboring Ghana hosted last year the 3rd expo.
