Libyan security forces and emergency services surround Tripoli’s central Corinthia Hotel on January 27, 2015 in the Libyan capital. The hotel was reportedly attacked by Islamist gunmen today and gunfire was heard, an AFP photographer reported. According to security sources at the scene, four armed men had detonated a car bomb in front of the Corinthia Hotel, which is popular with foreigners, killing a guard, before rushing into the hotel.
