President Abbas, who received Morocco’s Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita in Ramallah, Tuesday, underscored the key role played by Al Quds Committee and Bayt Mal Al-Quds in support of flagship projects in the holy city.
Bourita’s visit to Palestine reaffirms the deep brotherly ties between the two peoples and the determination of the leaders of the two countries to further develop these relations, Abbas was quoted as saying by the Palestinian news agency.

The Moroccan minister conveyed to President Abbas the greetings of King Mohammed VI, saying that the Sovereign attaches special importance to the city of Al Quds and is committed to ensuring constant consultation and coordination to address the dangers that the Palestinian cause and the occupied city of Al Quds face.
Before his meeting with the Palestinian President, Bourita performed the midday prayers in al Aqsa Mosque.
