TikTok has deleted 530,652 videos in Morocco during the first quarter of 2026. These videos were removed for violating Community Guidelines of the social media platform, according to a TikTok report showing the platform’s efforts made to maintain a safe digital environment.
Morocco recorded a proactive removal rate of 99 % before being reported by users, while 94.4% of inappropriate and offensive videos were removed within 24 hours of being reported, added the document.
TikTok said has also restored 26,835 videos in the Kingdom following successful appeals, reinforcing the platform’s approach to user accountability and transparent moderation.
The report data showed that the platform banned in the first quarter of this year 55,664 LIVE hosts and interrupted 254,351 livestreams in Morocco for violating its Community Guidelines.
Globally, the platform suspended more than 50 million LIVE sessions from January to March, an 18.6 percent increase from the previous quarter. A further 58 million sessions were subject to demonetization or warnings, while 21,966,667 LIVE creators were also demonetized or warned.
Across the MENA region, TikTok said it proactively interrupted millions of livestreams and banned hundreds of thousands of LIVE hosts for violating its guidelines.
