Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris to visit Tunis
Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris is planning to visit Tunisia “soon” and would announce resumption of one of his mega projects in the North African country.
Sources told Egyptian media Acharaa that Sawiris might meet with “senior officials, including the Tunisian President.”
“The meetings will discuss among others a mega tourism project in one of the capital’s suburbs,” the media said.
The Egyptian business tycoon is reportedly close to President Kais Saied. In recent months, he slammed the Heart of Tunis Party for voting for the head of the Ennahda movement, Rached Ghannouchi, sacked by Saied on 25 July.
