Moroccan Inter Tridim company to construct aeronautical maintenance center in Senegal

The Blaise Diagne International Airport of Dakar “AIBD” and the Moroccan steel construction company “Inter Tridim” have signed an agreement for the construction of the MRO Aeronautical Maintenance Center in Senegal, announced the AIBD.

The construction works of the Aeronautical Maintenance Center of the Blaise Diagne International Airport of Dakar will start at factory in November 2021 and on site at the end of December 2021 and will be carried out by Inter Tridim, “a leading Moroccan company in all trades in the metal construction and experienced in the design and realization of aircraft maintenance center hangars”, underlined the AIBD in a press release, specifying that the signing of the contract materializing the realization of this project took place on Friday Nov.12 in Casablanca.

First of its kind in West Africa, this maintenance center is a structuring project in the 2021-2025 air hub strategy approved in April 2021 by the President of Senegal Macky Sall, who wants to make the AIBD airport, the first sub-regional air and logistics hub in the Thiès region, an aviation pole of international dimension, added the AIBD.

 

The works to start at the factory in Casablanca at the end of November 2021 and on site at the AIBD international airport at the end of December 2021 will last for 18 months, the press release said.

 

Inter Tridim has distinguished itself since its creation in 1982 through its activities and achievements in the study, design and development, and the realization of metal structures in various sectors. For 30 years, Inter Tridim has become a major player in the field of steel construction.
