US billionaire Mark Cuban seeking to invest in Morocco

American billionaire Mark Cuban is looking forward to investing in thriving sectors in Morocco such as Fintech and High-tech, according to several Israeli news outlets.

The successful investor is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team of the NBA. He became a billionaire in 1998 at the age of 40 when he sold the broadcast.com company to Yahoo for $5.7 billion.

Mr. Cuban also owns the Magnolia Pictures studio and VIP transport airline MLW Air and a TV channel. His wealth is estimated $4.3 billion, according to Forbes magazine.

He is interested in artificial intelligence because he says it contributes to boosting global competitiveness. His airline company provides regular service to sports teams such as Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Chelsea FC, Real Madrid, heads of state and government.

He is known in America as one of panelists on “Shark Tank”, a TV program which shows entrepreneurs making business presentations to five investors (Sharks) who decide whether to invest in their company or products.
