Germany donates security equipment to Mohammed V Airport

Germany has donated security materials and equipment to the Casablanca Mohammed V Airport to help strengthen security, improve passengers’ experience and strengthen the efficiency and operational performance at the airport.

The donation consists of three security equipment of the latest generation, a corridor of air security control and two security scanners. This security equipment, already installed in the international transit area of the Mohammed V airport, is used by border police for checking passengers and their cabin luggage.

Thanks to this advanced technology, the processing capacity is increased to 200 passengers per hour, reducing waiting time and increasing the fluidity of the circuits in the transit area.

The donation was made under an agreement between Morocco’s National Office of Airports (ONDA) and the Embassy of Germany.
