Morocco’s Raja, Egypt’s Al Ismaily seek spot against Saudi Al-Ittihad in Mohammed VI Cup final

Morocco’s Raja Casablanca and Egypt’s al Ismaily are locking horns this Monday in the kingdom to book a place in the final of the Mohammed V Cup.

Raja will try to overcome 0-1 deficit registered during its away match in Egypt early last year. Both teams are returning to action after 11-month hiatus because of the pandemic.

The winner of today’s match will face Saudi Arabia’s al Ittihad who managed to axe Riyadh-based Al Shabab, 4-3 in aggregate.

Both Saudi teams drew 2-2 on December 02 during the first leg of their semi-final. The Jeddah side won the second leg 2-1, at home, on Jan. 04.
