Libyan Leaders Push Coordinated Reforms to Bolster Economy and Stability

Libya’s Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, held talks with Mohamed Takala to review political developments and advance a unified development agenda.

The talks held on Wednesday, April 1, highlighted a shared commitment to aligning institutional efforts to drive development and respond to the expectations of the Libyan people.

According to official statements, the meeting focused on strategies to enhance structured public spending, stimulate production, and strengthen the Libyan dinar against foreign currencies while improving resource management.

Both sides underscored the need for sustained coordination among state institutions to support the political process and ensure cohesive efforts in delivering public services. Discussions also addressed broader political and economic challenges, with an emphasis on fostering national consensus and reinforcing stability.
