Moroccan Army’s Contribution to UN Peacekeeping Operations reviewed in Rabat

The Contribution of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) to UN Peacekeeping Operations was reviewed at a meeting in Rabat Wednesday between FAR Inspector General and Commander of the South Zone, Mohammed Berrid, and Acting Military Adviser to the UN, Lieutenant General Cheryl Pearce, who is on a visit to Morocco.

The two officials held in-depth discussions on the contribution of the Royal Armed Forces to peacekeeping operations conducted under the auspices of the UN, the FAR General Staff said in a statement.

The UN official expressed her gratitude to King Mohammed VI for Morocco’s sustained efforts and continued commitment to UN missions in the Central African Republic and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

She also highlighted the professionalism and resilience of the Royal Armed Forces personnel.
