Eurowings to launch four new European routes to Marrakech this winter

German leisure airline Eurowings, a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group, will expand its operations in Morocco with the launch of four new direct routes to Marrakech for the upcoming winter season.

The new connections will link the Moroccan tourist hub, better known as the Red City, to Hanover, Salzburg, Stuttgart, and Prague, with flights commencing between late October and early November 2025.

Each route will operate twice weekly, offering increased travel options for European tourists seeking winter sun and rich cultural experiences.

In addition to the new destinations, Eurowings will boost its existing Düsseldorf–Marrakech service from two to three weekly flights. The airline will also maintain its routes to Fez from Cologne/Bonn and to Agadir from both Düsseldorf and Stuttgart, reinforcing its commitment to the Moroccan market.

The expansion comes as Morocco continues to position itself as a year-round destination, capitalizing on its mild climate, rich cultural heritage, and varied landscapes.

Eurowings’ growing presence in Morocco reflects a broader trend among European carriers to diversify their leisure offerings and tap into rising demand for travel to Morocco.
