Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan receives Palestinian children participating in summer camp in Morocco

Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan received, Monday at the Royal Palace in Tetouan, the Palestinian children from Al-Quds who are taking part in the summer camp organized by Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency.

The Crown Prince presided over a function hosted by King Mohammed VI, in honor of the Palestinian children, who presented a souvenir gift to Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan.

The camp, held under the aegis of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee, reflects Morocco’s continuous support for the holy city and its inhabitants.

It reinforces the Agency’s mission, dedicated to supporting the Holy City of Al-Quds and its residents through numerous projects with significant impact on the population of Al-Quds, particularly women, children, and vulnerable groups.

Dubbed “Harat Al Maghariba,” this year’s edition, the 16th, took place from August 10 to 26, and benefited 50 children from Al-Quds (boys and girls) aged between 11 and 14, accompanied by five supervisors, also from the Holy City.

The program included educational trips, artistic and sports competitions, and cultural visits alongside Moroccan children.

Since its launch in 2008, the Agency’s summer camp program has hosted a total of 800 children from various neighborhoods of the Holy City, and 80 supervisors. The children had thus the opportunity to visit different regions of the Kingdom and witness firsthand the strength of Moroccan solidarity with the Palestinians.
