Morocco’s King sends additional 100 tons of life-saving relief to Gaza

Upon instructions of King Mohammed VI, Chairman of Al-Quds Committee, Morocco is sending an additional 100 tons of emergency humanitarian assistance to the inhabitants of Gaza, said a press release issued Monday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The additional relief consists mostly of foodstuffs and medicines for children and infants. In early August, Morocco sent 180 tons of humanitarian aid including foodstuffs, infant formula, medicine, surgical supplies, tents, blankets, and other essential equipment.

Palestinians in Gaza have thanked King Mohammed VI for his generous support and firm solidarity with Palestinian people, particularly the populations of Gaza in times of hardship and crises.

They have said the royal initiatives reflect the unwavering commitment of the Kingdom to the Palestinian cause.
