Morocco’s RS Berkane knocks out Algeria’s CS Constantine in CAF Confederation Cup

RS Berkane built on its 4-0 first leg win against CS Constantine to guarantee its qualification to the final of the CAF Confederation CUP.

Despite its loss 1-0 in the second leg in Constantine, RS Berkane in their orange jerseys qualified comfortably to confront Simba SC of Tanzania.

Berkane, two-time winners of the competition, managed the game with experience and discipline despite coming under relentless pressure.

The Algerians continued to press in the final moments, with Tosin Omoyele heading narrowly wide and Chahine Belaouel forcing a save from close range during stoppage time. But Berkane stood firm to ensure their passage to the final.
