With home ground to their advantage, the Orange Boys, who were wearing their jersey displaying full Moroccan map, took control of the game in the opening stages.
With the roaring crowd of the Moroccans behind them, the two-time champions continued pressing the Egyptians who were struggling to contain the attacks.
The pressure exerted by the Orange Boys has enabled them to snatch an early penalty, giving the hosts the lead over the White Knights, who conceded another goal in the 1st half.
After the recess, the Egyptians returned more structured and managed to reduce the deficit thanks to Seifeddine’s goal in the 2nd half. Despite the new-found confidence, the Egyptians could not break the strong defense of RS Berkane who ended the match in their favor.
