French Council of Ministers welcomes decision of Paris International Agricultural Show to host Morocco as first foreign guest of honor

The French Council of Ministers, chaired on Wednesday by President Emmanuel Macron, welcomed the decision of the Paris International Agricultural Show to host Morocco as its guest of honor.

The French Council of Ministers highlighted the significance of this event that reflects a better understanding of agricultural geopolitics, and underscored that France is delighted by the International Agricultural Show’s decision to honor Morocco as its guest of honor.

For the first time since its inception, the Paris International Agricultural Show, scheduled from February 22 to March 2 in Paris, will feature a foreign country as its guest of honor.

The Kingdom will be present at this major trade show through a central pavilion of 476 square meters, exhibiting products bearing the Moroccan terroir label, produced by cooperatives with centuries-old know-how, and agricultural products reflecting the richness and diversity of the sector.

The public will also have the opportunity to rediscover other aspects of Moroccan authenticity and uniqueness through cultural and artistic performances, as well as tastings of Moroccan products and cuisine.

Held under the theme “A French Pride,” the 61st edition of the Paris International Agricultural Show is expected to receive over 600,000 visitors. Around 1,000 exhibitors will be present across a 16-hectare area featuring 9 pavilions.
