Mauritania’s President on a private visit to Rabat

President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani of Mauritania flew from capital Nouakchott to Rabat on Wednesday evening, reported the Mauritanian News Agency AMI.

The Mauritanian President’s trip to the Moroccan capital, falls within the framework of a “private visit,” said the agency, without disclosing additional details about the nature or agenda of the trip.

It is worth noting that such private visits may carry diplomatic or personal dimensions, which adds a unique character to the relations between the two Maghreb countries.
