Morocco strongly condemns Israeli raid against displaced Palestinians’ camp near Rafah

Morocco strongly denounces and condemns the raid carried out by the Israeli army against a camp sheltering more than 100,000 displaced Palestinians near the city of Rafah, an official source from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The source said the raid left dozens of civilians dead or wounded, in flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian conventions.

The Kingdom, whose Sovereign, King Mohammed VI, chairs the Al-Quds Committee, stresses the importance of complying with the decision of the International Court of Justice calling on Israel to cease its military operations in Rafah immediately, and reiterates its call for an immediate and lasting ceasefire, to guarantee protection for Palestinians, and to ensure the safe and unhindered delivery of large-scale humanitarian aid and relief supplies to the Gaza Strip, via all crossing points, including the Rafah crossing, the source added.
