Washington seeks stability & economic prosperity in North Africa
U.S. Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Todd D. Robinson travels this week to Morocco and Algeria to discuss key initiatives and to advance shared interests of security, stability, and economic prosperity.
During his North-African trip (Nov.12–21), Mr. Robinson will engage with security, justice, and law enforcement officials on the importance of transparent, accountable, and effective justice systems as essential elements for good governance, said U.S. State Department in a press release.
Assistant Secretary Robinson will also underscore the U.S. commitment to supporting these nations to enhance their legal frameworks and improve law enforcement capabilities, added the State Department.
