Wife of Saudi King picks Morocco for vacation

Princess Fahda, wife of Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and mother of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman is spending her vacation in the northern Moroccan city of Tangier.

The Saudi Princess was accompanied by a large delegation including other princes and princesses, Saudi Royal palace officials and other dignitaries, according to le360 news website.

Morocco has for long been a favourite destination for Gulf monarchs and dignitaries, including UAE president Mohammed Bin Zayed.

Recently, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez spent his holidays in Morocco where he visited Marrakech, Tangier and Tetouan.

Famous talk show host Oprah Winefry was also in Marrakech this summer sharing reels on her social media account of the experience.

Up to June 2023, tourism revenues recovered to 47.8 billion dirhams, up 69%.
