Abidjan to host African Circular Economy Summit in October

Cote d’Ivoire’s economic capital Abidjan will on October 04-07 “ECO CIR 2023”; the African continent’s summit on Circular Economy.
The event is backed by the Abidjan Autonomous District headed by Robert Beugré Mambé. The district has positioned itself as an important player in the promotion and development of the circular economy in the West African country.
To do so, it has set up an institute of circular economy, called “Institute of Circular Economy of Abidjan (IECA), with the task of promoting and development of the circular economy in Côte d’Ivoire.
The four-day forum will bring together Business leaders, decision-makers and experts from around the world who will reflect on a common vision of sustainable development. Organizers have also planned the presence of some key players of the global finance industry to learn about African experiences in building a more resilient and greener global economy.
