Morocco, Gabon set to foster longtime relations

Morocco and its longtime West African ally Gabon reiterated willingness to work together to foster their distinguished ties under the leadership of King Mohammed VI and President Ali Bongo Odimba.

The two leaders held talks in Libreville on Wednesday, attended by Moroccan foreign minister Nasser Bourita and his Gabonese peer Yoyande Nyonda.

The two leaders expressed satisfaction at the close ties between the two countries and the solidarity between the Moroccan and Gabonese people.

While King Mohammed VI is in Libreville, Morocco offered Gabon 2000 tons of fertilizers to help Gabonese farmers.

The King has also given directives to facilitate the access of Gabonese farmers to customized fertilizers to meet their soil nutrients needs.
