Emir of Qatar Receives Royal Advisor Fouad Ali El Himma
The Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received in Doha on Thursday Fouad Ali El Himma, Advisor to King Mohammed VI.
The two sides reviewed relations between the two countries, as well as the major developments on the regional and international scenes, reported Qatar news agency (QNA).
Sheikh Tamim seized the opportunity to express his thanks to King Mohammed VI for his decision to mobilize all the resources and expertise of the Kingdom of Morocco to contribute to the organization of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Morocco last week expressed readiness to provide Qatar with all human and logistical resources to help the Gulf country organize the 2022 World Cup tournament successfully.
This support pledge was made during the talks a visiting high-level Qatari delegation held in Rabat with several Moroccan officials.
On Wednesday, the Royal Advisor was in Riyadh where he conveyed to Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed Bin Salman a verbal message from King Mohammed VI.
He also expressed to Bin Salman the Moroccan monarch’s willingness to develop the distinguished partnership existing between the two countries at all levels.
The meeting covered an array of regional issues of common interest.
