UAE: CAFU to open shop in Egypt, first market in Africa

Emirati on-demand petroleum product supplier, CAFU, will begin operations in Egypt under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation.

The agreement will enable CAFU to launch fuel delivery services in Egypt in line with regulations and safety standards.

Launched in the UAE in 2018, CAFU uses mobile app to provide service anytime and anywhere. Customers need to provide their car location, fuel type and fill amount and choose a time for their fuel delivery through the app, Gulf Business reports.

The company, since its inception in the Gulf country, has delivered nearly one million ‘fills’ of petrol through its fleet of over 180 custom built delivery trucks.

Egypt has become first entry point of the Emirati company in Africa. Egypt hopes CAFU will help provide fuel service to Egyptians living in densely populated areas.
