Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis Supports Morocco’s Autonomy Plan for Sahara

The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, a Caribbean country, has expressed support to Morocco’s autonomy plan for the Sahara, saying this plan offers “a credible, serious and realistic” solution to this regional dispute.

“We are for the resolution of the regional conflict over the Sahara under the sovereignty and the territorial and national integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco”, said on Thursday in Rabat Prime minister of St. Kitts & Nevis, Timothy Sylvester Harris, after his talks with foreign minister Nasser Bourita.

During a joint press briefing, Mr.Timothy hailed Morocco’s commitment to the Sahara round-table meetings held in Geneva and its full cooperation with the UN Secretary General and his special envoy with a view to reaching “a just, definitive and mutually acceptable solution”.
