People stand near a border post on the Algerian side of the Morocco-Algeria border in the north east of Morocco July 31, 2011. Morocco's King Mohammed renewed calls on Saturday to normalise ties and reopen borders with wealthier neighbour Algeria, saying that Rabat wants to build an integrated North African economic bloc. Morocco closed the border following a 1994 Islamist militant attack in Marrakesh, which it blamed on Algeria's secret service, and the border region remains tense.
