Rabat Hosts Euromoney Conference 2019

Morocco’s capital city, Rabat, is hosting this Tuesday an international economic and financial conference organized by Euromoney, which specializes in capital market and connecting companies and governments with the financial institutions that support their growth.

The conference program features opening keynote addresses by Abdellatif Jouahri, Governor of Moroccan central bank (Bank Al-Maghrib), Othman Benjelloun, chairman & CEO of BMCE Bank Of Africa Group and Douglas Kelly, regional director of Boeing Company.

Panels will focus on Morocco’s economic strategy, banking sector and financial regulations.
Participants are also expected to discuss strategic opportunities for banking and financial markets; the impact of One-Belt, One-Road on Morocco; sustainable employment and SME development through innovation.

According to experts, Morocco has many of the hallmarks of an exciting emerging market, with huge potential for investment, growth and trade.

The country is also well-placed to position itself as a gateway to the African continent, with many keen to secure this reputation through effective economic policies and regulation.
