Oman Air Starts Operating Muscat-Casablanca Flights

Oman Air opened this month the Casablanca Muscat direct air route as the two countries see promising prospects for their bilateral relations.

The inaugural flight WY171 was operated by Dreamliner (787-800) and is scheduled to depart Muscat four times per week flying to the Casablanca International Airport.

The new air route is part of Oman Air expansion plan as the company plans long haul direct flights to Moscow and the Maldives.

The direct flight between Morocco and Oman will facilitate business between the two countries and bring more Omani tourists to Morocco.

Muscat would also offer Moroccan travelers a hub towards a range of destinations operated by Oman Air.
