The Moroccan League for the Protection of Children (LMPE) held on Thursday in Rabat its Ordinary General Assembly that was devoted to the presentation and approval of the LMPE’s moral and financial report, the Auditor’s report for the 2025 financial year, as well as the 2026-2027 action program.
President of the league, Princess Lalla Zineb highlighted the actions and projects carried out by the League in favor of children in vulnerable situations, within the framework of the 2025-2030 strategic program aimed at increasing the accommodation capacity for beneficiaries and strengthening mechanisms for the protection and preservation of their fundamental rights, the LMPE said in a statement.
During the meeting, she praised the league’s partners, social stakeholders and associations working in the field of child protection and warmly thanked them for their fruitful cooperation.
the year 2025 was marked by the inauguration of a summer camp center in M’diq, the completion of construction works for centers in El Jadida, Hay Moulay Rachid (Casablanca), Nador and Ait Melloul, the external development and equipment of centers in Tit Mellil, Agadir, Taroudant and Benslimane, as well as the launch of construction works of a center in Sidi Othmane (Casablanca) and a second center in Tangier, the statement recalled.
Regarding future prospects, emphasis was placed on the need to intensify efforts and mobilize the necessary human and financial resources to improve care conditions for children deprived of family support, in cooperation with the various stakeholders concerned, in line with the far-sighted vision of King Mohammed VI calling for human development and the preservation of the foundations of social equity.
After reviewing the main aspects of the achievements report and the programs to be implemented to strengthen the LMPE’s social actions in favor of children in difficult situations, Assembly members unanimously approved the moral and financial report, the accounts for the financial year ending December 31, 2025, and the related resolutions.
At the end of the general debate, the Assembly decided to continue the organization of training sessions for managers and supervisors of LMPE institutions, as well as the implementation of the clauses of partnership agreements signed in 2025.
