Morocco’s King Represented at Inauguration of President of Djibouti

King Mohammed VI was represented at the inauguration ceremony of the President of Djibouti, Ismaïl Omar Guelleh, by Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.

During this ceremony, which took place this Saturday in the presence of several heads of state and government, foreign delegations, representatives of international organizations, members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Djibouti and several other personalities, Guelleh took the oath of office as President of the Republic of Djibouti for a new five-year term.

On this occasion, Bourita conveyed to Guelleh the warmest congratulations of the King, and his best wishes for success in his high office, to lead the brotherly Djiboutian people towards further progress and prosperity.

The King had previously sent a message of congratulations to Ismaïl Omar Guelleh on the occasion of his reelection.

In this message, the Sovereign had expressed to Omar Guelleh his warm congratulations and sincere wishes for full success in leading the Djiboutian people towards the realization of their aspirations for greater progress and prosperity.
