Director General of Morocco’s National Security and Territorial Surveillance Abdellatif Hammouchi attended the International Defense and Aerospace Exhibition (SAHA 2026), held in Istanbul May 7 through 9.
The head of the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) and the Directorate General of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) paid a working visit to Türkiye May 7-8, at the invitation of Director General of the Turkish National Police Mahmut Demirtaş.
During the visit, he conferred with several security officials, including Director of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization Ibrahim Kalin, and Deputy Secretary of the Turkish Strategic Defense Industries System (SSB) Hüseyin Avşar.
Talks covered ways to bolster security cooperation, enhance collaboration in the area of mutual technical assistance, and develop security partnership between the two countries, in line with the strategic Morocco-Türkiye ties. and matters of mutual interest.
The latest technological and industrial innovations related to security equipment and materials and matters of mutual interest were also reviewed.
SAHA 2026 brings together industry leaders, experts, and innovators to drive technological advancements in defense and aerospace. It provides a platform to forge partnerships, transfer technology, and set the course for tomorrow’s defense and aerospace landscape.
