Spain’s Checkin Hotels group expands in Morocco with two new establishments

Spanish Checkin Hotels group has announced the opening of two new tourist establishments in Morocco, reinforcing its presence in the kingdom as part of its strategic expansion, the group said in a statement released on Wednesday.

The first, DWO Marrakech Ennakhil, is a luxurious 5-star hotel situated in the vibrant city of Marrakech. The hotel boasts 230 rooms, offering a blend of opulence and comfort to its guests.

The second tourist facility, DWO Golden Camp Merzouga, offers a unique experience in the heart of the desert. Located amidst the stunning dunes of Erg Chebbi, this establishment features 32 khaïma (tents), each equipped with modern amenities, providing a luxurious camping experience.

“These two distinct concepts allow guests to enjoy breathtaking landscapes and the renowned hospitality of the country, with comprehensive vacation services,” the Spanish hotel chain emphasized in the statement.

These new establishments, already operational, enhance Checkin Hotels’ portfolio in Morocco. The chain had previously inaugurated its first Moroccan hotel, DWO Le Bedouin, a 4-star complex located in the Agafay desert near Marrakech, in March of this year.
