King Mohammed VI Sends Message to Egyptian President
King Mohammed VI of Morocco has sent a written message to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi.
The royal message was handed to the Egyptian head of state by Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita Friday.
The message is related to the strengthening of cooperation between Morocco and Egypt and to the two countries’ shared resolve to give a new impetus to their partnership in its political, human, and development dimensions, reported MAP, without giving any further details.
Bourita is representing King Mohammed VI at the Africa Investment Forum held in the new administrative capital of Egypt (North-East of Cairo) Nov.22-23, under the chairmanship of President Sissi.
The forum held under the slogan “Invest in Africa” offers a Pan-African platform for the continent’s Heads of State and Government, as well as leading regional investors and international financial institutions to explore new horizons to create a better future for the peoples of the continent and develop the priorities of Africa’s Agenda 2063.
The forum features a roundtable on Africa’s untapped investment opportunities and debates on strategies and policies to ensure greater involvement of development partners and the private sector to boost regional economic growth and prosperity.
