Morocco and Indonesia foster bilateral ties with four cooperation agreements
Morocco and Indonesia cemented their ties with four cooperation agreements covering fisheries, industry, counterterrorism and sharing financial intelligence on money laundering and terrorism funding.
The agreements reflect a strong willingness to foster ties through concrete agreements to promote economic ties, said Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.
Bourita added that the agreements pave the way for underlining the importance of unifying positions and coordinating actions by both sides to address challenges regionally and internationally.
For her part, Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi welcomed the depth and solidity of bilateral relations, which will gain momentum thanks to the conclusion of the four cooperation agreements between the two brotherly countries.
She expressed her country’s interest in the major development projects undertaken in Morocco, which is a popular destination for foreign investors looking for a favorable business climate.
She added that Indonesian companies are ready to invest in Morocco notably in infrastructure projects.
Highlighting Morocco’s enormous phosphate potential, the Indonesian official expressed her country’s interest in boosting the fertilizer trade with Morocco.
