Morocco, Hungary to be Linked by Two Direct Weekly Flights
Two weekly flights will link Morocco to Hungary as of October 30 as the north African Kingdom aspires to attract 30,000 Hungarian tourists by 2018 and 100,000 by 2020.
In a statement to the press, director of Morocco’s tourism promotion office (ONMT) Abderrafie Zouitene said that Morocco and Hungary will be linked by two flights weekly as of October 30.
The flights will be operated by lowcost companies, Ryan air and Wizz air, which will link Budapest to Morocco’s tourist hubs of Marrakech and Agadir, Zouitene told the press following talks with Hungarian ambassador to Morocco.
He said Morocco is working closely with Hungarian tour operators to attract more tourists from Hungary as part of a tourism promotion strategy based on diversifying tourist emitting markets.
