King Mohammed VI Receives Several Foreign Ambassadors in Rabat

King Mohammed VI received several foreign ambassadors on Thursday at the Royal Palace in Rabat, who handed him their credentials as their countries’ plenipotentiary and extraordinary ambassadors to the Kingdom.

The Monarch thus received three ambassadors from Asia, namely Syed Adil Gilani, Ambassador of Pakistan; Sadia Faizunnesa, Ambassador of Bangladesh; and Yuyu Sutisna, Ambassador of Indonesia; and three ambassadors from Africa, namely Joseph Ahanhanzo, Ambassador of Benin; Abdoulaye Keïta, Ambassador of Niger; and José Filipe, Ambassador of Angola.

The King also received Sandra Abinader, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic; Luis Alberto Castro Joo, Ambassador of Peru; and Carlos Arturo Forero Sierra, Ambassador of Colombia; as well as Hayder Shiya Albarrak, Ambassador of Iraq.

Three ambassadors from Europe presented their credentials to the King during this audience. These are Pasquale Salzano, Ambassador of Italy; Maria Fredrika Ornbrant, Ambassador of Sweden; and Alexander Giles Pinfield, Ambassador of the United Kingdom.

The audience was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita and the King’s Chamberlain Sidi Mohammed El Alaoui.
