Morocco condemns the armed attack that targeted the White House correspondents’ dinner which was attended by President Donald Trump, a source from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Morocco expresses solidarity with the U.S. President and his family, as well as with the government and people of the friendly country, and reiterates its position rejecting all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism, regardless of their origin or motives, the source added.
A man armed with guns and knives stormed the lobby just outside the vast ballroom where the dinner was taking place on Saturday night.
The president was uninjured and was rushed off the stage.
