Dutch Transavia launches new route strengthening ties with Morocco
Dutch low-cost airline company Transavia has launched a new route between Amsterdam and Rabat, marking another milestone in the airline’s steady growth across North Africa.
The new service responds to growing demand for travel between the Netherlands and Morocco, especially for leisure and family travelers as well as business passengers.
The Dutch airline company says it will continue to promote Morocco’s diverse destinations, in cooperation with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT).
Morocco has become Transavia number one destination for winter, with Agadir and Marrakech serving as key points of operation. This winter, the airline will operate nearly 55 weekly flights from the Netherlands and Belgium to nine Moroccan cities—Al Hoceima, Agadir, Casablanca, Fez, Marrakech, Nador, Oujda, Tangier, and now Rabat, which will be served three times a week from Amsterdam.
