Moroccan carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) inaugurated on Monday a new direct flight connecting Casablanca to Munich, marking a significant step in strengthening air connectivity between Morocco and Germany.
The new route, to be serviced twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, serves as a strategic bridge between Morocco and Germany, aimed at boosting economic, cultural, and technological exchanges. It also responds to growing demand for connectivity between Morocco, Germany, and neighboring markets such as Austria and Switzerland, RAM said.
With this new service, Munich becomes RAM’s second regular destination in Germany, after Frankfurt. The airline already operates a daily Casablanca–Frankfurt flight and seasonal services from Düsseldorf and Frankfurt to Nador and Oujda.
The new connection addresses the needs of tourists, the Moroccan and African diaspora, and business travelers, while promoting tourism by allowing German tour operators to market packages from Munich and Frankfurt. It also offers German passengers direct access to RAM’s African network, particularly West Africa.
