Arab-Islamic summit in Doha reaffirms support for Al-Quds Committee led by King Mohammed VI

At the conclusion of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit held in Doha in response to recent Israeli escalations, heads of state and government adopted a resolution reaffirming their support for the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by King Mohammed VI of Morocco, and its executive arm, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency.

The resolution emphasized the importance of supporting the Maqdessis, the Palestinian residents of Jerusalem, who continue to face mounting social, economic, and security pressures.

The reaffirmation of backing for the Al-Quds Committee comes at a critical time, as regional leaders seek to strengthen coordinated Islamic efforts around the future of Jerusalem.

Prince Moulay Rachid represented the Moroccan monarch at the summit, underscoring the Kingdom’s high-level engagement in the proceedings.

The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, headquartered in Rabat, plays a key role in financing social, educational, and cultural projects in Jerusalem, and is widely regarded as a cornerstone of Islamic solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Morocco’s presence and the reaffirmed support for its leadership on the Jerusalem file reflect its longstanding commitment to peace, stability, and the protection of Islamic heritage in the Holy City.
