
Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency donates Palestinian kids school backpacks rekindling joy
After having organized summer camps for dozens of Maqdessi children in Morocco, Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency has donated school backpacks to Palestinian students bringing back smile to them on the occasion of the start of the new school year.
The operation of distribution of school backpacks was launched Sunday in the village of Nabi Samuel, northwest of Al-Quds. Some 2,300 students from schools in Al-Quds Governorate will benefit from this humanitarian and solidarity initiative which costs $125,000 donated by Moroccan institutions. On Sunday, 150 children received their schoolbags filled with stationary, and text books.
This operation is part of the Agency’s efforts to alleviate the burden on Maqdessi families and help create conditions favorable for children’s schooling and education.
The move confirms Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency’s commitment to the Palestinian people. This commitment was lauded by Nawal Barakat, President of the Nabi Samuel Association, who thanked King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, for his continued support for Al Quds inhabitants.
