U.S. Independence Day: Morocco’s King congratulates President Trump, praises growing strategic partnership

King Mohammed VI has sent a message of congratulations to President Donald Trump on the occasion of the U.S. Independence Day celebrated by the Americans on July 4. The Monarch hailed the joint commitment to strengthening further bilateral relations and the momentum gained by the Moroccan-U.S. strategic partnership.

In his message, the king expressed, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Moroccan people, his warmest congratulations and best wishes for good health and happiness to President Trump, and to the American friendly people for further progress and prosperity.

The Sovereign praised the long-standing Moroccan-American historical relations which are based on strong friendship, constructive cooperation, and mutual esteem.

“Our shared commitment to developing our relations has enabled us to give fresh momentum to our strategic partnership, said the King, noting that this is “paving the way for closer cooperation in various areas of common interest and for stability and development at the regional and the international levels.”

The Moroccan Monarch reiterated his steadfast determination to continue working with the American President to further deepen and expand the special relationship existing between the two countries.

On July 4, Americans celebrate their country’s Independence Day in various ways from attending fireworks displays to colorful parades full of patriotic spirits. Some festivities date back decades. Others take on a regional flavor, capturing the diversity and richness of the American heritage.
