Morocco’s OCP turnover rises to $2.3bln by March 2025
Morocco’s phosphates and fertilizer giant, OCP, reported a 10% growth in its revenue in the first three months this year to $2.3 billion.
This performance was attributed to higher demand on fertilizers in Europe, Brazil, Africa, and India, where inventories have been depleted.
It also took place in a context of DAP/MAP fertilizers export restrictions by China, OCP said in a statement.
OCP had announced a plan to use100% clean energy by 2027 and to fully cover its industrial water needs with non-conventional sources. It also aims to increase the Group’s capacity to produce decarbonized fertilizers, notably by integrating green ammonia, in order to progressively reduce its carbon footprint and achieve carbon neutrality across its entire value chain by 2040.
